Doubt we'll have a great following at Stoke. £42 tomorrow plus Wembley tickets, is not cheap.

I think we are safe, will be two tough games, I'll settle for a point from each. It'll be head to head for 10th spot. Besides, we may also have a cup final to look forward to. MH has done an ok job turning you guys around.

Stoke and West Ham are horrible places to go away to, particularly for teams like us. With it being a night game West Ham will be very difficult at their place with a small away following, Stoke will have the benefit of playing us after a week's rest while we've played midweek. I expect us to lose both I'm afraid.

Don't forget Jelavic and Long. If they're on song they can get us something from a tough game.

I'm there for both and I'd love a point from either ....... Big Sam's teams are twats to play against, when we were relegated last time, Blackburn were so much ''cleverer'' and streetwise against us in that ugly 1-0 at Ewood Park, despite Brucey having us better organised I fear more of the same.

We have gone from dominating games and getting nothing to not playing that well but scoring goals which shows the power of top strikers. I would say that we played much better football without strikers though and on Saturday it was the same when Jela and Long went off, we play much more direct with the new partnership when we are in fact very good at passing the ball around.

The problem since we got Jela and Long is we are tending to hoof ball it down the pitch to get it to them quicker whereas before we used to play it forward on the ground through the midfield.

We've obviously been played more direct since we signed Jelly and Long, but I thought our passing game also dropped off when we lost Brady, we're often a bit pedestrian compared to earlier in the season.

    Merson's prediction for tonight...

    West Ham v Hull

Both of these teams are just one or two results away from safety and if one of them wins this game then that would pretty much be their safety secured, for me.

West Ham have seen how ruthless the Premier League is. They went on a good run and were in the top half of the table and now they've lost three on the bounce and they're back in it all of a sudden.

As long as they win another game soon, I don't think they will get relegated because I can't see Sunderland winning three more matches than them. West Ham and Hull would need to have a shocking end to the season to get relegated from here.

Hull have been playing well. They got a good result against West Brom and I think they need to get their points on the board very quickly so they can concentrate on the semi-finals of the FA Cup, which is a big game for them.

They don't want to go to Wembley in the middle of a relegation battle and they need a couple of wins so they can focus on that.

I think this will be an entertaining draw - and both sides would be fairly happy with that.

    PAUL PREDICTS: 2-2

West Ham are the same when Carroll is playing they hoof the ball up to him as quick as possible, they play better football without him
