Looks like I've been vindicated by today's events (even if you were such a **** that you needed any more proof).
Over 200 police who were there that day in 1989 are still serving in the SYP- time for them to be afraid.

Suggesting that all coppers in South Yorkshire are bent, is less balanced than suggesting that only some of them are(and some definitely are/were).
Though they were still remarkably **** at Wednesday, you'd think they'd learn.
It's a bent police force - at the very highest levels.
Maybe time to stop the speeding seminars and concentrate on the criminals within.

For the bulk of those figures excessive speed wouldn't have been a factor, never mind speeding (there IS a difference). The bulk of the people at the seminars would have been caught at traps such as the one on the slip road to Sullivan Way where the danger isn't speed (as shown by the national speed limit being a few hundred yards behind the camera) but people on the slip road not giving way to traffic on the main road.

Balance is what is required but it may be difficult to to get any balance on an internet debate due to many people having entrenched positions. It is more important that the scales of justice balance over this issue. Justice should be done and be seen to be done imo. I am not convinced that the ipcc are the right people for the job and would of preferred a full public inquiry as was the case for phone hacking,bloody sunday etc.
Let's not forget, the lies and cover ups from Hillsborough contributed to the piss poor attitude that the press, public and Police have against football fans that mean we get treat in a way that no other section of society would.

The surprising thing about those figures, is that 35 Women died in child birth, but not a single man. They need to start a study on male child birth, to find out why it's so much more successful.
