I still dont now where its luck though, you play to the final whistle, if you score and the other team concedes before the final whistle, you get 1 goal, Norwich have scored 13-15 goals this season in Injury time, good on them i say, and if that got them 20 points and promotion, then it wasnt luck, it was work ethic and playing to the final whistle, also Man U are the best at it, it cant be all good fortune.

Do you think the skunks would understand this argument if they'd had enough oxygen at birth?

Chumppaz - you are like all CRAAS, you just cannot hack it when the table shows SAFC are top dogs in the NE AGAIN!!!

The CRAAS would have been spouting much more shi*e than we have if your crap team had finished above the Mighty SAFC.

If you don't like the heat, stay out the kitchen - you are beginning to sound like a winge-ing spoilt child.

FFS get a grip - we will give you a bit of our luck next season, though we will still finish above you coz your team is sh*te.

I see my last post shut those thick CRAAS up - they can't admit that SAFC is far superior in every way.

Top Cats - 3 years in a row.

I cannot believe the way this thread went. All the crap about own goals, late goals, luck etc...nobody surely gives a **** about all that bollocks. The league table is what it is we are 10th they are 12th end of. Our remit finish in the top half of the table DONE! their's stay up DONE! what is there to argue about. I won't even bother with the injuries bullshit as we all know the team was badgered with some right bad injuries this season but **** HAPPENS!

We move on as top dogs in the NE and await next year. Who knows what will happen but as it stands we finished ahead of our rivals they battered us at their place and we outplayed them at ours (joke!) thank god for the point!!!!

    Ha Way the lads!!!

Have to say I was going to come on your board the next day and say congrats on what had been an improvement on last seasons finish but there were far too many posts and posters on here I didn't know where anything I said would have been turned against me due to my support for Newcastle.

10th this season is a sign of Kaizen as far as your club is concerned and congrats on it.

Both battling again next season and with both clubs bordering on a top half finish (you managed it) is good for football as whole.

I said on the old 606 that any increase in league position from the previous season shows sign of improvement as theoretically every team strengthens.

Cheers for the thrills and spills this season and perhaps some of the OTT animosity that exists between us as supporters dies down as most of it is uncalled for.

Hell. I may even buy Sid in Caterham a pint soon.

Where the hell do you find these great animated gifs?

I'm still concerned that the sys admins at work will look at my search history and ask what the hell 'smiling soap' has to do with software development.

Nice post. I will admit that Newcastle were much better than I thought they would be this season. I think if you take your **** forwards out of the equation our team's are pretty equal. I am not embarrassed about finishing a point ahead of a newly promoted team. We finished were we wanted, Newcastle showed that their relegation was a blip.

The signing's both our club's make will be very important. I see us both being very equal again next season, fighting around 7th spot hopefully.

Obviously the top 6 sides are nailed on, Villa and Everton though? I don't see why Sunderland or/and Newcastle Can't challenge them if we spend wisely.
I know Europe get's thrown about like an insult on here, let's be honest though, club's our size should be competing there regularly.

Spurs, Villa, Everton and now seemingly Liverpool.

That top 7 spot is going to be tough.

Spurs - have money every season and with a decent manager they will reach a top 7.
Villa - Good owner but need stability to challenge top 7
Liverpool - God knows to be fair. What will they spend this window but form guide has them in top 7
Everton - Moyes. It has to be him. Top 7 is attainable with him at the helm.

QPR in a few seasons with the money they can theoretically bring?

That Top 7 is tough to break into.

I was counting Liverpool and Spurs in my "nailed on top 6". I reckon Villa are going to change manager, destabalising them again.
Moyes is a brilliant manager, when injuries hit though it usually cripples them ( lack of quality outside of first 11).
I am not saying either of us will finish 7th, it's far from the realm's of impossible though. Top half will be my modest aim next seaon, but I will be dreaming of higher and I will not be knocking any of your lot that do the same.<ok>
