everytime i see the sour faced scot i'm reminded of that and how bad a manager he was to sign a player just from a phone call without even seeing him what was worse he even said he played with george weah at some point in his career yet couldn't tell it wasn't him on the phone double <doh>

I bet he gave out his card details and pin number over the phone while he was at it.

I prefer Nacho Gonzalez. I fondly remember him on my 2009 NUFC calendar. Had to laugh, considering he played for about 7 minutes and had left by then. What an icon

    Hello sah,

I am George Weah, the world reknowed footballer of greatness and I've decided to offer to you the chance to sign my cousin to play the football with your team, the South Hampton. I, George Weah can say that my cousin is a footballer also of greatness. If you can just give me the South Hamptons bank details I will also be happy to pay into the South Hamptons account some money to help pay for Ali, the cousin of me, George Weah.

You can believe me sah as George Weah, the football player of world greatness that my cousin is very very good and I am making this offer only to you and the South Hampton football club.

Another forum I use often has people screwing over Nigerian scammers in inventive ways. If you have time, somebody wrote a blog about one which was pretty funny: http://www.zug.com/pranks/powerbook/

<laugh> There is plenty wrong with playing for Spartans, they're ****e! He played one game for Spartans and then left for Southampton. I only wish Blyth could've sold him to a Premier League club. It would've been the biggest rip off in the history of football <laugh>. Even more so than the £35m we got for Carroll.
