When the EU was first started, it was right leaning and despised by the left esp labour left, they then got their people into places of influence, now the best this since sliced bread, if right get power and alter direction, will be hated by the left again

You seem a bit obsessed with this left and right thing ...

... I'd say most people aren't radically biased to that degree.

The fact there's been two massive opposing majorities, recently, proves that.

I am obsessed because I want an actual party for the middle

I wouldn’t go that far …

… we’re doing better than many countries, the US for example.

Until Trump started all these wars we were starting to get a bit steadier in my opinion.

We are currently experiencing a brief interlude in which the grown ups are in charge in Westminster, sort of. Expect all that to change at the next General Election.

The current government faces so many headwinds their job is almost impossible; and they’ve made it worse for themselves through several basic errors.

But the real problem for Labour is, they’ve tried to please everyone and ended up pleasing no one. They need to get back to their roots; socialism is not a dirty word, it gave us the NHS, the welfare state, a fair days work for a fair days pay, affordable housing, decent pensions; all that stuff the Tories have been chipping away at for decades, and which Farage will put a torch to if he gets half a chance.

You want a party for the middle but you’re supporting Trump and Farage, fair enough.
I am only saying I would vote Farage if the alternative is the Greens, if labour splits and blue labour because a separate party, could vote for them,
What annoys me most with the two main parties is when tories were having troubles, people in the background saying go more right. Now labour having troubles and people in the background are saying go more left, why could they not say let's move more to the middle ground where most people probably sit.

Is that a joke the current government grown-up, more like a bunch of school kids talking school yard politics.

You want a middle party but backing Farage? Are you on same medication as Roger? Haway Ron really?

The left say Labour is too much to the right and the right say they are too far to the left. :-)

As said before I say you gotta vote and if between reform or greens or lib dem, then got to be reform as cannot stand the Greens. Giv me a good party in the middle no comparison.
Tories need time on the sidelines to do some reflection and labour just as bad.

Fair enough but Labour are no where near as bad unless you are too influenced by our right wing media. Are they perfect far from but they are the best chance for our country at the moment given the absolute clusterfk they inherited and the alternatives.

Farage is the problem not the solution

i watch sky news and itv local news, last print paper i read was FT, on phone the main paper that pops up is guardian, not sure why maybe headlines caught my attention once. never go on X facebook or instagram. As far as i know none are right wing media.
All the main parties seem to leave an absolute clusterfk, maybe to do with only seeming to have 5 year short term plans

Which Iran denied any involvement with. Can't see why they would deny 1 yet openly admit to others
Did RT tell you that or the Iranian state media which claimed it killed hundred or thousands of US troops in the first couple of days.

Probably because the head of the snake had been cut off and the leaders lower down the chain were lashing out. Which other country would have a reason to bomb them and they are not on the flightpath used by US or Israel.

Turn the question around. What reason would Iran have to bomb them? Iran are backing Armeni in their dispute with Azerbaijan.

I wonder if any other countires or groups would have anything to gain by simulating an Iranian attack? Hmm

Could be Azerbaijan but drones came from iranian direction. Why has iran sent missiles to Turkey , Qatar
