Thing is are you happy "to cut of you nose to spite your face" as the saying goes, what's happened has happened, are you willing to go back to paying over £2 a litre or energy bills back to pre Ukraine levels.
Unfortunately we have been pushed in to a corner here.

Yes...willing to do whatever it takes to ignore this Orange madman and all those who enable him, until a grown up takes charge of the White house. Right now the USA is no friend of the UK

If it sees off Trump yes for a short time. Short term pain, long term gain. A vote against Trump in the upcoming elections and we get some truth, which will be bad news for those bankrolling hateful politics.

  • US President Donald Trump says it would be "very bad for the future of Nato" if allies don't help secure the Strait of Hormuz.

  • In an interview with the Financial Times, Trump says he expects China to help unblock the strait and could delay a summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping if it doesn't.

  • Aboard Air Force One, Trump also says he is speaking to "about seven" countries about "policing" the strait, adding that he "will remember" if they do not help.

  • Aboard Air Force One earlier, US President Donald Trump said he was speaking to "about seven" countries about "policing" the Strait of Hormuz.

    He added that "it will be interesting to see" which countries do help the US with what he called "a very small endeavour".

Surely if he wants NATO to get involved he would need to invoke Article 5.

... if that's what Great Britain has become I'd rather we told Trump where to get off, get back in with Europe and take our chances.

As I said. Personally I would do whatever it took to distance ourselves from this raping, pathological liar and ****. I don't think he will last till the end of his term. Come the Mid terms at the end of this year....he is toast

No i am a realist and live in the real world, I am against Trump but what has happened has happened, no going back now.
We need oil for the near term no matter what millipede and his followers say so should we get as much oil out of the north sea as we can

We haven't done anything except defend our own interests. We didn't join in with Trump's attack on Iran or Lebanon and aren't threatening to send in the troops. Spain has told Trump they're not going to be bullied, so why should we?

Yes Trump started it and now Iran is lashing out at everyone including our friends, Iran wants to put the whole world in a massive recession, which we do not want to happen. Are you willing for the old and inferm to die next winter if oil and gas prices go through the roof. It is IRAN that is turning itinto a world wide war.

Which would NEVER have started if Trump asked for Congress approval or a UN resolution… Iran looking after themselves against a very unpredictable idiot in charge of the US forces

He only needs Congress approval if this goes on over 60 days.. The trouble is that WW3 has already started. It began back in 2014 when Russia first invaded Ukraine. All of the worlds leaders treid to brush it under the carpet and apply a quick fix.. The result being what is happening now.

I lived in the Middle East for 12 years, I’m guessing you don’t know how many installations the US has in the region.. the bottom line for Iran is… if they can’t win a military war, they can win a economic war… it will cripple the US… this Orange idiot will be looking for an off ramp very soon
