I actually don’t think that the UK as a country is racist, nor do I believe that the population as a whole hold those views. There are of course individuals and groups who will though. We have to be careful not to conflate nationalism with racism.
You are talking to the wrong group if you think they can understand that.

The Falklands, as your first example, would definitely not work.

Totally impossible in every way.

If that’s your first example it shows you’re just having a wild guess and have no facts …

… as I thought.
Why, because you say so.

The general feeling was that Remain was going to win, comfortably. It probably lulled their 'voters' into a false sense of security. Leave, being a 'protest' vote, that in itself would get them to the polling stations. Remainers didnt have that prompt, especially when thinking they were going to win anyway. When I woke up and saw the we were leaving I couldnt believe it.
When I woke up and read it I still went and told my wife remain won and then I thought, just a minute and went back and read it again, then I started to do somersaults round the kitchen <laugh>

No because it’s logistically impossible.

If you’re sure it would work please explain how.

I don’t think you have a clue to be honest …

… but will happily admit your’e right and apologise.
Why is it logistically impossible to put someone on a ship or a plane and transport them wherever you want.

Tbh marra i was the opposite, when I heard i just shrugged and said champion to myself, it was the after process that got me into the debate

So are you saying we can take a armada of boats from small to aircraft carriers but we don’t have people bright enough to take a few hundred illegal immigrants in a boat.

Simple question, well for most people, did the Australia camp work, it's not a hard question.
We’re not Australia but I’ll happily discuss that when you’ve outlined your plan with the Falklands.

TBH I don’t think you have a plan.

It sounds like a Farage quote that people like the sound of but has nothing to back it up.

Falklands was just one of many islands we own.
did it work for Australia,Yes, we could hire the experts that set up their scheme

Yes I know but you’ve no idea how it would work, it’s just total guesswork. How many migrants do you think the Falklands would accommodate?
You do the same as all walks of life, you employ logistics experts, do you seriously think ministers who run gov departments lead all the tasks they want carried out in their department, no they get experts in.

That’s all true, I wouldn’t argue with that.

I just wanted to make sure you had no idea and didn’t actually have a plan.
