One news comment was that Iran have pitched this so that Israel can shoot down , no damage/ loss of life - point made , that’s it. If Israel then still retaliate with force , then it’s Israel who set off more escalation

So pleased I'm leaving the Middle East next month. This region has become a tinderbox. Not sure if the whole thing escalates the UAE will get dragged into it, but it wouldn't surprise me.

The drones were a response to the Iranian embassy in Syria being struck.

I've seen the recent army recruitment videos the British Army have been putting out, desperate to attract anyone they can get whatsoever, why not send some of their new recruits? Send them right into the danger zones.

Interesting, they've decided to do it on Iran's Supreme Leader's birthday.

Israel are wanting a war, which is quite bizarre, but...they'll only want war if The US & allies are there to protect, defend and help them in their war.
