Whilst I don't think he should be sacked, if he is saying what you say above, he should do the right thing and walk! No question! That would be the honourable thing to do. While there's still time for the next guy to sort his mess out.
It`s in quotes in the OP. Don`t know where it came from but if it`s right it`s getting close to an admission of defeat.
We need someone who would come in and give the slackers at the club a huge kick up the arse. Someone who would introduce a rigorous training regime and get the players behaving like dedicated professionals. A manager who's not afraid to upset the massive egos of the senior players. What's that di Canio fella doing ..................
Lined up for the mags? We`ve had 5 managers, each one brought in to sort out the previous managers mess, and we`re still in a mess. I`m beginning to wonder if there`s any manager can sort it out.
No one can tell me that team should be losing at home to Hull & QPR. We have a team with current and ex-internationals and looked a shambles. Summat's wrong.
QPR fan in peace. I know a lot of Brighton ST holders who would agree with the majority here about Gus. Arrogant, single minded, blames other people etc. He doesn't exactly sound happy in that interview does he? I hope he doesn't leave you in such way that he left BHA. Good luck for the rest of the season
This is something that has been confusing me for a good few years now. Pretty much since Makelele every team seems to think that an anchoring midfielder is needed all the time in every game. Sometimes even 2! At home to inferior sides what happened to just playing 2 up top and 2 orthodox centre mids? Baffles me, waste of a position.
Someone is going to be very fortunate to tempt Hoddle with a top job at some point, and I think he'll do brilliantly. You guys could do a lot worse!
I watched the first half on what was a crappy stream and got so mad switched off after the second goal and headed to the pub. If Poyet is claiming to be developing a team with the qualities reminiscent of Arsenal then I saw little evidence last night. What I did see was a bunch of players who showed no passion, no respect for the club and should be ashamed to wear the shirt. I imagine the only thing they get passionate about is their bank balance. On paper I would take our squad every time to beat QPR what is lacking is a management team who all too often fail to motivate before the game and an on field captain prepared to kick some arse during the game.
I think he's dreadful & out of touch ......... I don't understand how he could inspire players tbh. I also despise his personality which would make it difficult to judge him objectively as our manager. Would you like him at Newcastle.
Based on what out of interest? HIs lack of managerial work in the last Decade, All the trophies he hasn't won before? Steering Spurs to 10th in the table? His atrocious management of the England team? Keeping Southampton up by the skin of their teeth? Or his failure to get Wolves promoted? He's out of touch and never been a good manager.
"You and I have been physically given two hands and two legs and half-decent brains. Some people have not been born like that for a reason. The karma is working from another lifetime. I have nothing to hide about that. It is not only people with disabilities. What you sow, you have to reap."
The bloke is an idiot. Shouldn't be let near a dug out. You have to question the sanity or football knowledge or both of anyone who rates the fool.
He does talk a good match tbh ....... or at least until you think about what he's actually said. Out of interest and nothing to do with anything ......... is he gay?
