Do we rest anyone
Or full on?

Id like to see ndala start at least
Id rest semi

Hopefully destans ready

Would love to win a cup game for once
Especially against a champ side
Good practice

I expect changes, think we could change our full back 4 (providing Coyle is fit and Williams is signed) and not be massively weaker:

Pandur
Drameh
Egan
Famewo
Williams
McCarthy
Lundstram
Palmer
Gelhardt
Joseph
Ndala

I'd expect a LOT of changes, no one really cares about this comp anyway do they?

Phillips

Drameh/Williams - Egan - Famewo - Giles/Williams

McCarthy - Gelhardt - Palmer

Tinsdale - McBurnie - Brown

Mins for new signings McBurnie and Gelhardt important, assuming Williams has signed to play either LB or RB and some more opportunities for Tinsdale and McCarthy. As someone mentioned on the Cov thread, interesting that Vaughan didn't even make the bench where McCarthy and Tinsdale had done, so expect those 2 to feature from the start as well as Brown, another opportunity for him to try and impress - one i'm not sure on is Destan - no idea if he's fit or not - would expect to see him get mins off the bench at the very least

Saturday's post-match interview suggested we'd make some changes, and I doubt that means we're starting Gelhardt and McBurnie.

I expect to see quite a young team

Serious question, do we even care about the FA cup? I do, but does the owner etc?

If our sole aim is promotion (how likely that is, time will tell) and if money is no problem (it is), then surely this is another needless distraction and potential for injuries.

i hope our aim is not promotion

surely any sensible decisions would be, aiming for promotion next

good season this, and strengthen more in the next few transfer windows.. but.. we might be 9th in the league come jan, acun will come and spend £15m probably..<laugh>:1980_boogie_down:

I agree, we should be building over a season or two.

As you say, any sniff of playoffs and we will go bananas with signings!

Hopefully get to see the new players in action. Lundstram needs more minutes so I'd play him and I would like to see Gelhardt in the role Sergej sees for him.
