League Table

Highest scorer this week was Yorkie with 122, followed by 3 others topping the ton. Yorkie moved from 11th up to 8th. Other risers were Andy, who is rapidly closing on his kids, and Theo. Frenchie moved into second just ahead of Hornette, but no sign of a falter by Seb in poll position. Still around 3 months to go, so still enough time for changes.

Thanks cologne. <ok> To think I was 20th just a few months ago and expecting relegation. Plenty of time for everyone to go on a promotion surge. :emoticon-0100-smile

Tell him at the end of the season that he led in mid-November - the problem you then have is if he wins it but you do have 6 months to think of a way out of that one. That wouldn't work for me as jerzeypie does his own postings and looks at the table.

League Table

Here is the latest league table, which shows little changes in the rankings. Seb extended his lead a little and Hornette demonstrated that she can miss a week and not drop in the table. Highest scorer was Zen with 98, but, on the whole, a moderate week for us. There were 4 x 1-1 draws amongst our fixtures which could have thrown us a bit - draws being less common in the Prem. than in other divisions.

Hi Cologne,
I know my selections were atrocious but I thought you got at least 10 for entering. I am currently away in Dominican Republic and did this weeks and next weeks on the WPL future postings, as I didn't know if I could post there or not. Can you have a look for me please. I think every prediction is wrong by the way.

Hi Charlie. So sorry I missed yours - I noticed Dave's on the future postings thread but not yours. Probably because I get so used to only Dave giving his tips on there. I have adjusted the table - you actually got 15. 10 for tipping and 5 for Mainz v Bremen. Sorry again.

haha, the one thread i didn't bother checking coz there were no matches this week! Oh well, i feel slightly cheated but at least i kept my place ;)

The Premiership is a nightmare H. At least as far as the predictions league is concerned. I will always need to 'stock up' with fixtures from other leagues - to replace monday night fixtures, and on weekends when we reach the later rounds of the FA. Cup. At some stage you have weekends when the cup and the league are done concurrently - there is a full programme of league fixtures planned for the weekend of the cup quarter finals, but I have no idea, as yet, which will have to be postponed. The decision to begin the WPL. again at the 5th round stage was one I made a while ago - as it happened I realized later that there were no premiership fixtures actually taking place that weekend. So I ended up with a non premier weekend. My apologies if you feel disadvantaged by this - in future it may make more sense to 'begin' at the quarter final stage, but 'done' is 'done'. At any rate the only weekends where there is absolutely no WPL. are during the FA cup 3rd and 4th rounds, and, obviously, international weekends - the 5th round stage was always a question mark on my side, and I would hesitate in future. Sorry again - Cologne.

League Table

A very dramatic week on the WPL which saw no less than 7 of us topping the hundred mark - 2 even managed to do this without rising in the table. A few of us managed to buck this trend however, myself included. Is there any stopping Seb ? With 11 rounds left everything is possible, but it's going to be difficult. Seb's total for this week is the highest I can remember on here, even accounting for our, rather inflated, scoring system. The 196 came through perfect scorelines at Watford (doubled), Hull City (doubled with a joker on it), Palace, Everton and Lazio Rome - thus giving the equivalent of 7 perfect scores. Elsewhere, brother Matej rose into 4th, only 6 points behind Hornette.
