League Table
Nearly the last kick of the game at Hull City v Man. City created havoc on the WPL this round with quite a few jokers resting on it. Highest score of the day was an impressive 145 by Frenchie. The next 3 highest were a family affair with andy and his 2 kids all getting amongst the tons this week. Seb is still storming away in poll position with now over a hundred point gap over Theo in second. Look out for Frenchie coming up into 3rd. Only 30 points now separating 2nd from 6th place.

League Table
Very sorry about the lateness of the table this week. I am 'on the road' until Wednesday, without reliable internet access. A very high scoring round on the WPL with no less than 7 posters topping the hundred mark. In fact it was possible to score in the 80s yet drop in the table. Pride of place goes to Hornette with 146, which takes her back into second. We now have a break from the WPL for 2 weeks and the FA Cup prediction league gets going next week.

It's a lot of work, I'm sure, and my boys are amazed that you find time to do this with all the playing with new stuff and meeting up with family that happens at this time of year.

I didn't realise how similar Seb's and my predictions were! It's often a real last minute thing and attention is mainly on making sure he lets me type in my prediction before I hear his and type that in. It's a clock-watching frenzy, hurrying him up and then making sure there's not more than four identical scores, which there usually is, and he has to change one or two around. But he never sees mine until they're posted, and I always predict before him because I don't want his prediction swaying me, I like to keep a clear head - well, as clear as is possible in the bedlam that is 12.20pm on a Saturday when predictions are due! No changes at the top this week, although Hornette and Frenchie cut Seb's lead a little. Highest score of the round (104) saw Brian moving up into 4th place. The other ton of the day was by Mark with 101. Elsewhere a moderate round in terms of scoring. The top 6 have opened up a hundred point gap on the rest of us, but everything is tight after that.

Was on the train halfway between Paddington and Cardiff before I realised that I hadn't posted.

After the weekends matches our table looks a little bit tighter. Seb made it easy for my maths, which allowed Hornette and Frenchie to close the gap a little. Lower in the table there were rumbles with no less than 3 scoring over 140. Headed by our Canary with 149, followed closely by Fez with 148 (aided by a joker at Arsenal) and by Andy, who managed to muddle up his kids tips with his own and consequently ended up with 143.
