Would anyone not transition ...

I think most people are. People should be allowed to live their lives the way they want - as long as their way of life doesn't infringe in a negative way on how others live their lives.

Why not offer this person the opportunity to complete their transition before being put in a women's prison. How does tomorrow at half nine sound?

 

She's chosen it as a wedge issue with the presumption nobody would dare say anything for fear of being cancelled in the current climate.

 

The system is already creaking under the strain.

Wasting the time and resources of lawyers, politicians, prison authorities, etc on measuring men's willies is ridiculous imo.

It's only because people are born into such a wonderful country that the idea of changing sex is even tolerated. People should be happy to accept that, in this country, criminals born as men should go to a man's prison.

If you don't want that to happen don't go out raping women and risking a jail sentence you f**king idiot.

The problem with this is that, following the same logic, criminals born as women should go to a women's prison... So what if you have a trans person who's been on testosterone since age 13 and is 6'0 and built like a brick ****house? It would cause carnage in a women's prison

 

Simple, just put him on the lesbian wing, problem solved

... if they wish to avoid solitary confinement they only need to avoid committing any crimes.

I’ve not followed all this too closely but my gut reaction is that if you have a penis you’re not a woman and if you have a vagina you’re not a man. Some countries already have 4 or 5 genders. My feeling is that we need more words defining particular genders.
Back in my youth there were two types of sexuality, normal straight people and abnormal perverted benders. How times have changed! Now I hear that there are up to 60 types of sexuality. I think the same thing will happen with gender. We need names for trans people that will give them peace and dignity.
Homosexuals grabbed the word « gay » and that kick started the movement to acceptance and equality for them.
We need sonething similar for trans and non binary people.
Just a thought.

 

The problem is that, with many of these things, people simply decide what they are, when it's children and teenagers that's a worry. When they change their mind, as they often do, it makes people like me wonder what it's all about.

 

Whatever they like to pronounce, it is a matter of simple biological facts to state that a woman cannot have a penis, a man cannot have a cervix, they cannot be each other, and that there are two sexes, with occasionally two of the same being attracted strongly to each other.

The rest is all confection.

 

I think a comparison with anorexia can be drawn. Thankfully, these cases have now dropped in number somewhat, but for quite a long time they were increasing sharply in young girls. Absurd celebrities boasting about their " skinniness" and so on encouraged young girls down this horrific path. Similar rubbish was being pumped out by the trash magazines.

But the difference between that issue and the gender issue -which is a misnomer in itself - is that there were no parents, teachers, health professionals or others in responsible positions egging on girls to starve themselves to death.

But we can now look and see the disgraceful sight of all these types openly encouraging young people, mostly girls, to go through irreversible changes when they are still children.

It is appalling and all done on a political stance. They should hang their heads in shame into eternity for the harm they have done and are doing. A person's sex is not a fashion, or " assigned" . It is what we are born with, and everyone knows it.

 

There's been some horrendous trends which have seriously affected young people and pushed them to do things they defend to the death at the time but bitterly regret later. Without the encouragement of 'Celebrities' would young girls ever have breast/lip/cheek/bum/whatever implants.

Obviously not.

The trends, in more innocent times, were fashion, music, hair, etc. All things that made teenagers feel radical and rebellious at the time but that they could ditch, or keep for leisure time, while they started to find jobs, etc.

Having your genitals removed is insane and liable to cause more psychological harm than good imo.
