Why should they take the knee? Dan Wootton’s view as a gay are more relevant than some leftie virtue signaller. Like him or not Peter Tatchell shows, and has shown,more physical and moral courage than people wearing arm bands and taking the knee.

They know it will sell with a lot of folk who prefer their pork cured, long-soaking in their own brine, trying to blame everyone else for shortcomings and perceived loss of hegemony on anything and anyone but their own ****ing generational failures.

This Wootton chancer/cancer is a columnist.
Never been anything of note more than a columnist.
He's a ****ing nobody in comparison to any current England player, coach or manager - or anything like a campaigner for basic humanities like Tatchell.
Wootton is a skilled ****house of a writer who's taken a paycheck from a publication, Never risked his own security to help to provide a basic right to others.
It's actually quite offensive to the completely independent LGBT and Iranian struggles that he'd even try to make those associations to taking the knee, which is a completely separate statement.
But you probably know this and are playing the same game as he is.
Either that or you just don't get it.
