Within 24 hours the French have reminded me what a beautifull game football can be, and the Spanish have reminded me how boring it can be. How is it possible to pass the ball 50 times and come back to the same place and think you are getting somewhere ? I agree that the ref. was paid by Gazprom but, to be honest the Spanish need to rethink their whole game - these are players from Real, Atletico, Barcelona etc. and none of those clubs play the sort of mundane stuff that the national team has got into the habit of playing.

Really disappointed in Croatia and Denmark are a bit like Sweden I guess - dour and defensive mindset.

Not sure if that is a good thing though if England play them!?

I'd almost rather play a side that attacks like Colombia will.
