Turned into a total Mexico can over the last hour. Live in California so sort of like a home team too.

:afro: I just liked saying Ahem. LOL.

I'm semi-serious about Dos. He won the Copa America with one of the greatest goals you'll ever see, led Mexico to a gold medal and has now played one of the best games I've seen from anyone in a while. To be fair, Cameroon does have the dodgiest defending this side of Iraq's US trained government forces.

He finally creates a goal after going in alone on the keeper.

Mexican commentators on the goal line technology replay:

"They got it right! They got it right!"

I've gone to Mexico a half dozen times, and gotten into the habit of rooting for them.

That ridiculous substitutions board is the true scandal of the World Cup. Is there a concerted plan to just make officials look stupid?

Diego Costa getting booed for being a traitor! <laugh>
Far, far better than the host nation's starting striker, too. Would've been playing, I'd have thought, had he stayed loyal.

Ron Vlaar playing well, as he tries to avoid the embarrassment of lining up alongside Phillip Senderos and Joe Cole next season.

Soggy Biscuit rolling about all over the place, as usual. Horrible player.

And Rio Ferdinand pre-match was lavishly praising his cheating! I'm no prissy moralist but **** me top level professional football's an absolute moral black hole.

How the hell is that a yellow card?
Swiftly followed by a totally unnecessary penalty. Naive from The Fridge.

Nowadays not even a peep about how he left his leg back and was falling over before any contact made. Enfuriating.

Did anyone else notice how physically lean Gio looked today ??
Whenever I saw him play for Spurs he also looked a bit lardy.

Very good save by Cillessen. Even better equaliser by van Persie.
Two fantastic passes for the chances.
