The last three teams to have beaten Argentina at the World Cup have gone on to reach the tournament final (France, Germany, Croatia).
Not tall enough.
Do you mean the Argentina team as a whole or Messi? I assume you mean the team as a whole, and yes their forward line was bullied by a more physical Saudi backline.
Is Al Dawsari a distant relative of AndyClearly a lot of the Saudi Arabian players are Paul Simon fans

Plus a billion for InfantinoSaudi prince probably just allocated 500 billion to their 2030 world cup bid after that
Maybe the Saudis are on to something with this no alcohol gig

Well as you write I am in La Ventana Mexico on the the Baja Penninsula-winter home. So like you will be supporting MXTurbo on the bench.
Got a decent order from a new customer in Mexico about an hour ago, so I’m supporting them.![]()
Well I do try to limit it. But old habits die hard and coming from a culture (i.e. the UK) in which alcohol is inbred into the social fabiric that is not easy. And I gotta say I do enjoy an occasional IPA.Do you want to try it?![]()
Mexico CityIs this game being played in Guadalajara? The noise level from the Mexican support is incredible.

Amazingly quite a few countries consume more alcohol per capita than we do contrary to the picture presented by the anti alcohol fanatics in the health service.
big problem in uk is the binge drinking. ie huge amounts in short time
versus smaller lots of times in other places
not including depressing places like russia etc
True. Partly due to an inbred culture of drinking against the clock due to our restricted opening hours and also in Europe drinking is just part of a night out, often accompanied by a meal and conversation in cafe bars whereas booze is the sole focus of a night out here in a pub.
