Do you want to try it?<laugh>
Well I do try to limit it. But old habits die hard and coming from a culture (i.e. the UK) in which alcohol is inbred into the social fabiric that is not easy. And I gotta say I do enjoy an occasional IPA.

Amazingly quite a few countries consume more alcohol per capita than we do contrary to the picture presented by the anti alcohol fanatics in the health service.

True. Partly due to an inbred culture of drinking against the clock due to our restricted opening hours and also in Europe drinking is just part of a night out, often accompanied by a meal and conversation in cafe bars whereas booze is the sole focus of a night out here in a pub.

You have to be over fifty to even remember the old restricted hours, I doubt it's having much of an impact nowadays. It's more about the discounted Jagerbombs and tequilla slammers and various other cocktail promotions that city centre bars seem obsessed with.

Meh of a first half there - neither side looking like they will progress too far into this competition
