Denmark must have some top quality midfielders if he's been excluded. I'd take him just for the engine alone.
He seems the sort of guy who will push on more because of this set back, but gutted for him all the same.

It’s hard on him, but don’t forget he’s still only 22. He’ll be getting into his peak years by the time the Euro’s and the next World Cup come around.

I had better put money on Denmark to win the WC then - they must have some team if PEH cannot get in it. One of our few shining lights.
True; was good in my view when compared to many others; but not sure thats much of a benchmark. Feel sad for him, but as FLT wrote above: we get him back rested and fired up for the new season...

Very true. What team and formation would everyone play?

On current form, I would play:

--------------------------------Pickford----------------------------
----------
Stones ------------- Dier ------------ Maguire
Alexander-Arnold Henderson Loftus-Cheek Young
-----------------Alli -------------------------- Sterling
--------------------------------Kane

Dier at CB means we can change to 4-3-3 if needed without a sub. I very nearly put Rashford over Alli, and Lingard over Loftus-Cheek
