Thanks it looks as though I have a few options. There will be no worries about big wins Chain with my £2:50 on first scorers!!!!
Sod you, NDS, I do NOT have a frame, yet! And I still work a bit, not much, but a bit! Dan, why do you dislike Iceland and Belgium? Puzzles me a bit that, there are so many other more dislikeable teams in this tournament, surely? Bloody hell, Brazil are starting to look a bit like the Brazil of old. Shall we all pack-up and go home?
It's all work related Swan - spent far too much of my life in Brussels over the last 20 years and was involved in a very lengthy dispute with Iceland which was a massive pain in the arse. It's not a dislike so much - it's all comic book stuff for me when it comes to football.
Watching the Brazil game it was pretty obvious that Lee Dixon rather liked the Brazilians. Fresh pants for him when he gets home. I thought the game was in the balance until the second goal and then Serbia collectively packed their bags and the Brazilians were able to knock it around in pretty patterns. I'll accept the flack for this next comment because he's obviously a very fine player but I think Neymar is a problem for them. A more egotistical selfish player I've yet to see. He should have become a golfer or a tennis pro. Team sports are not really his thing.
First name to be entered in my 'Block Gauleiter' wee notebook; expect a visit within the next few days at precisely 05.03 from two tightly cropped blond individuals in metal rimmed spectacles and wearing long black leather overcoats.
Yes, it'll be good business for the pubs and bars too in the sun belts! Media being particularly vicious and cruel in Germany today, how different to 2014? Löw being the main target. Sure he ****ed-up royally this time, but in no way does he deserve all this from these media bastards, who just write and say what they think the fans want to read and hear. Complete ****ing arseholes, the lot of them! Oh well, as NDS mentioned, think I'd better start shopping around for a Rollator (Frame), or "borrow" a supermarket Wagerl short term? Bloody hell! Anyway, all the very best today to England, give it a real go lads!
Cannae wait for Koln in Oktober; both 'home' and 'away' trikots plus 'warm up' top will be on sale for buttons. Galeria Kaufhof on Hohe Strasse here I come! Media the same all over the globe; anything to sell their lie ridden rags or create a f****n' audience. Instant gratification a must in this throw away world; ooops, just about wandered into politics. "What did we ever see in a man who previously reached at least the semi-finals of every tournament in his stint as coach/manager and won the World Cup in 2014?" Ya gotta laugh!

well those results this aft affect the game tonight ! both england and belgium will surely want to win now , facing japan is infinitely preferable to colombia . i'm glad they're not playing to come second , so should be a good contest .
Looking at the BBC Paper Review, the British papers gave a mixed reaction to the World Cup Gerexit. In their order of wittiness (my opinion): Daily Mirror: Come on England... but don’t mention the VAR! i: What’s the German for schadenfreude? The Telegraph: A lesson in schadenfreude for the Germans The Sun: (over a picture of German players) Schadenfreude noun (from the German): Pleasure derived from another person’s misfortune Metro: OUT Wiedersehen! Daily Mail: Gott Im Himmel Germans crash out – and in Britain there’s not a dry eye in the house!! Daily Express: Don’t Mention The Score Now Come On England! Daily Star: Don’t Mention The Score!
Brazil have clearly been the best team so far by a distance, so much quality all over the pitch and they have played some lovely stuff in spells, but they are not bombproof mentally. If Neymar was at his early last season level id say they would be unstoppable but he still looks below his best after the injury.
Loads of changes for both sides. Giving playing time to fringe players. If we win Southgate is a genius but if we dont?????
I'm not happy with all those changes, one or two I'd have accepted to give a couple of players who are already pushing for a start a game but to stick in most of the fringe players is a joke. We should be playing to win every game and play at our highest possible standard in all of those games, which means using the best players available.
Agreed mate. If it’s not broken and all that. I only wanted 1 or 2 changes but I’m not England manager. We will see if we are totally wrong in about a hour and half mate.
