Must be a joy to be married to such a wise lady. Currently drowning myself with episodes of 'Shameless'; no wireless for me for a few days!

Don't know if this is true or not, but I hear the Belgium manager plans to put out a reserve team tomorrow, pity really it's the last game in the group and has no bearing for either team on progressing further, both have succeeded. The young England players might have been able to learn a lot from playing Belgium's first team. Belgium not too popular on here, but they have such a talented squad, and it is beginning to look as though they are welding into a good team too. Definitely my choice to win the lot, but the way this world cup is going, hell, it could be Senegal!

My original choice was France so I will stick with 'Le Bleu'. Got a strange feeling about Croatia.

"Over the moon to see Germany out...……………."

Mallafets was expecting that from you. In a way I understand, as I was equally overjoyed ****ing Turkey never even made it to Russia. These intense dislikes really don't make a lot of sense, after all, we're supposed to be civilized homo sapiens? But not with certain sport and sporting events, I guess. Along with politics, brings out the very worst in people. Just musing. Think I'll take a nap, watch some stuff I recorded on TV. Screw more football today.

Maybe you are mistaken slightly. I do not like Germany at all but I would never wish harm on German person, it is a dislike not a hatred. Same with politics though I do hate the Labour party in the UK and the EU with a passion, I do like European countries.
This Sule guy played today by the way so was not left out the squad. Germany were too slow, too predictable, too narrow, no plan B, and had no player who could go past a man, very poor overall.

You were right at the very beginning Oddy. Not good signs in the German camp.

I wondered if the Mexicans let the Swedes win to keep Germany out but it doesn't look as though Germany did their bit

Mallafets, well spotted on my error, I meant Leroy Sané of course (Man.City and a German national). Sule is a different kettle of fish, namely a defender. Apologies! <doh>

Ron, had the Germans scored that one vital goal, and the result stayed that way, Mexico would have been out themselves. They were playing with fire losing to Sweden 3-0.

  13. It was funny that they went out - I giggle when it happens to any of the big boys. Just disappointing they had to play that badly when most of us were working <whistle>

Try going through your browser instead, or go through skybet through your browser.

Uruguay are a very powerful unit and will go far. But Brazil it seems are the only team that have several gears they can go through yet.

Use your 4G. Only detects if you try to log on using wifi in my experience. Not sure how you'd stand if you won a big un though. That's not something I've ever had to worry about.
