Seriously though, it's easy to get misty-eyed about old players but Boruc was good for 3 seasons and utter mince for 2 seasons.

Celtic had ****e goalies going back to about 1994. No wonder we all thought Artur was the best thing since sliced bread.

douglas was a decent keeper for us in general but was made the scapegoat all the time

the 'fans favourites' who played in front of him -balde, mjallby, valgaeren - were immune to criticism whenever we lost a goal.

At times he was decent. Others he was rank rotten.

He was never consistently good over a number of seasons.
 
Douglas for all his errors was by some distance the best keeper we had between Peter Latchford and the holy goaly.
 
Balde in particular got turned on when he went through a bad patch. When he went out of the team again folk treated him like Beckenbaur.
 
Efi Ambrose is world class , just led his team into the African nations cup final , bad news for us will put him out the Juventus tie .
 
Game over on Sunday Harry, he said before he went it would no problem playing.
Sunday flying back on Monday and playing again on Tuesday. He claims he
recovers quickly after gamed. Must be something to do with his youth.
