Heard from a REAL reliable source that West Brom are very keen to to do a deal involving Trotter going the other way and us getting Wood and Jerome Thomas in return - Fulham have already (reportedly) offered us £4M for Trotter so that deal sounds feasible <ok>

Sounds believable, I've heard rumours about Trotter to Newcastle too, but this deal would seem more sensible from Millwall's point of view.

Thomas has been awesome at leeds, no offence though. Both of these players can pretty much go anywhere in the championship, maybe have offers from the prem as well. I can't see them wanting to go to Millwall over clubs like Hull or Leicester.

It might even make WBA re-consider selling him in Jan. They may choose to keep Wood for there own squad now he has got going goal wise. Twt.

Cracking result for the top clubs actually. Millwall 2-0 up and foooked it up. That 88th min penalty looked a bit harsh from SSN pictures though. lol.

Shop window stuff @ Millwall for sure. But IF WBA do sell then they will be stupid to just accept £1m for Wood when the price could go even higher imo.

Wood will be sold for more than that. But NP at Lesta has been reported as saying that they are not interested in Chris Wood.

Looks like Millwall know they have rival problems in landing Chris Wood in January.

I did say when we played Birmingham last season were he was on loan and i thought he tore us apart that night that we should sign him when Birmingham sent him back because of finances, i think if Barmby had got him for the last three months it could have made the difference. Chris Hughton said he thought it cost them promotion

I think Darius Henderson is a decent player but taking Wood after 88 mins means nothing, he had done the damage, scored twice and in my morning paper the headlines on the game were" Woods so good", i do think him and Henderson will be an excellent parnership

I'd love us to go for Chris Wood. I think he'd be the perfect fit alongside Aluko.

Dont think it will happen(Wood & Henderson). The point i was making re. Henderson was that his coming back will ease the pain when Wood leaves in January. But to where ?

Everyone seems to be quoting Championship clubs, but I believe that the form he has shown will have alerted the mid to lower table prem league clubs, the likes of Villa, Sunderland, Stoke are all crying out for someone who knows where the onion bag is. Don`t be surprised if the lad goes to one of these.

Reports suggest that Sunderland are looking at Danny Graham from Swansea. A north east lad who can go home again.

I dont see any PL team going for Chris Wood in January.

We should offer £1.5m then, it's probably not far off what we'd have offered for Campbell anyway.

Chris Wood has just bought 2 properties - 1 in Wimledon for his Mum and an £800k flat in Canary Wharf.

Make of that what you will <ok>

I've had a flat in London for the past seven years, but I live in East Yorkshire, it's always useful to have somewhere to stop over when you're visiting. <ok>
