Not true. Of course they can compete against men's (and boys) teams. They did, against boys, and lost 7-0! Not having a go. I really enjoy England Women's games.
I am just pointing out that sport should be men against men and Women against women. End of, over and out.
But don’t you see what you’re saying? ‘they’re good but they aren’t as good as men’. What’s the point? Serena Williams gets it. She’s incredible, why do we have to downplay her achievements. England might win a World Cup. As football fans, why do we have to demean it?
It's not, but the women's game is better for how it is and will find its own commercial level, so you cannot compare it to the men's game financially. My comment on them losing to a load of 15 YO boys just highlights for me why the game has to be women against women.
There's that TV charity match every year which has men and women and celebrities and ex professionals I remember a charity match between ex pros for Everton and Liverpool John Barnes came on as a substitue and he was substituted off after five minutes he was just so unfit
Hey this is pretty funny. It’s almost like ‘woke’ is all about headline grabbing and swaying people to be angry when actually it’s much more complex than that.
I'm not sure anyone is demeaning anything about the Women's game, the Lionesses achievements etc. I even said I really enjoy watching. It is what it is .... but let's not pretend.
