Cracking signing for Bournemouth. They're playing well this season but I think it's going under the radar what a young team they're building too. They have a core of key players who are about 25 (Semenyo, Kluivert, Evanilson, Taverner, Adams) but then they have Kerkez (21), Zabarnyi (22), Huijsen (19), Scott (21) and Dango (22). Now Kroupi who is just 18.

They've either got a squad that will really grow together over the next few seasons or one that will make huge profits for them and allow them to keep investing in young players.
I’ve been wary of them with their strategy as I keep expecting them to target our young players. I’m a little surprised they haven’t been linked more, even if just from lazy journalists in need of a (made up) story.

Reactions: Frazier the Lion
If Danns is confirmed (i like to see the scarf picture 1st) then i think it's been a good window

If I was being greedy I'd of liked a fullback and a RM as well but the main thing was improving the team and we've done that

Le Fee is just on a different level to others at this level, he should only get better as he gets up to speed with the game in England plus once his match sharpness is at 100%. I get some might be disappointed that we didn't follow it up with another big signing but 1 huge January signing is good for me.

Danns will give us a cracking option upfront, likely as an impact sub but he has the physicality to help us - he is raw and needs to learn how to use his body better but his pace and energy will be huge later in games

I also class Poveda and Samed as new signings (could add Seelt into this as well tbh) as they didn't feature 1st half of the season. Samed has shown glimpses that he will be a cracking player for us and I just hold out hope that Poveda can show the form i saw do at Sheff Wed 2nd half of last season

The key was keeping all our key players and we've done that. Isidor signing permanently is great business, he is already worth double what we paid for him imo and hopefully Neil has signed his new deal

We will need to stay injury free in certain positions but I'm buzzing for the next few months

Agree with all of that. Be interesting to see where ELF fits into this side when Mundle and Tommy are back.

Pleased the window is over. Feel like we might be a little bit short but very happy overall, especially that we’ve kept all our players.

if you consider Danns replaces Connolly and Le Fee replaces Aouchiche, it’s only really Rusyn that we lost that had any minutes. And his minutes were fleeting at best.

If Roberts plays like he did last night then we don’t need another winger.

Only player we haven’t “replaced” is Alese and I’m worried about left back, even if we do have Hjelde as back up. Right back also an issue dependant on Seelt fitness. But this never seemed to be an area of concern for the club.

Most important thing was we kept all our players!

All great stuff to me. I just watch and shout anyway, but as we seem to shopping a Tier or two higher now, the players might be a little bit harder to get.

Rarely for me though I do know a bit about Danns, and if he shows up I expect him to make an impact. He really is very close to Liverpool's side and that's good enough for me. My mate down there has been banging the drum for him for over a year.

As for Speakman, looking at that team last night, (and it really is a team), the bloke is obviously a mesmeriser. He turns up at various clubs, takes an excellent player from them, gives them next to nowt, and then comes home.

There should be pictures of him stuck up on telegraph poles everywhere. The bloke is a bandit!

Yeah left back is my main worry, but RLB sees O9 and Hjelde as good backup options so I'll trust him

I'd give this window a 9/10.

Le Fee is easily the biggest signing of the Championship, even most Premiership clubs didn't bring in that sort of calibre.

Moving on Connolly and Rusyn, all things considered is good business, Rusyn wasn't going to make it here and we helped Connolly get back on his feet, showing again that our club is a force for good in the football world.

Isidor being made permanent is excellent business, it means we don't have to worry about where we are or who else is interested in the summer.

Zak Johnson, Aouchiche, Bishop and Ba all need to play matches for a few different reasons and we have managed to get that, whether it's for development or to encourage offers in the summer etc.

We managed to keep hold of Watson despite big offers from Brighton and the player only has 18 months left on his deal, this makes me think the club believe they can do a deal with the player and that they see a big future for the player, the lad can take something from that.

Abduallahi, Poveda, Samed, Browne, Mundle, Watson all on the mend and are either back or due back in the coming weeks, which suggests large amounts of incomings weren't necessary anyway.

If Danns is confirmed at some point today I'll shift my rating to a 9.5/10.
