I think the lad is making a similar poor career choice to the one Clarke made when he went to Spurs from Leeds. He would be heavily involved with us again once fit and could easily make the left wing spot his own.

Went back and read over the last few posts in case I was going insane. I am not, I'll enjoy the rest of my Sunday!

One difference is that Brighton, if he did end up there, do have a history of developing players in the top division. I don't see him getting into their match day squad this season but maybe their Head Coach does.

I honestly haven’t seen anybody do that. Not in here, not today. There’s a load of people, suddenly, saying “look how good the club are all you people”. When nobody has been knocking the club at all.

Its like people have swooped in to prove a point that didn’t need to be made.

The club turning a bid down for Watson has proven nothing in either direction. People need to wait and see what happens. What’s clear is the club aren’t being taken for mugs. Which is great.
