Yeah I'm not sure why folk are against it, the striker is likely to be 3rd choice coming in and Danns fits the type we seem to be looking for

I would be disappointed if it was only him coming in

But hin with a quality RM and then a LM to challenge Mundle if Watson goes would be a cracking window

A perfect window would be getting a fullback in as well

You would have to believe that Sunderland have all the targets lined up.... The way they do business now, cards very close to the chest..it wouldn't surprise me. If not, tomorrow gonna be a headache for the recruitment team

Ideally, the Black Cats would like to keep Watson, who remains at a formative stage of his career, with the potential to develop into a top-class talent in the next few years. Sunderland also have Romaine Mundle returning from injury though, meaning Watson could struggle for game time on the left-hand side in the remainder of the season, and it would be hard to turn down bids of £20m-plus for an 18-year-old who has only made six Championship starts.
Be snapping hands off for £20m
