Different players thrive in different scenarios. Clarke loved it here and the fans love him. We know how he likes to play and how to get the best out of him. He'll step up with us.
The big thing for me is that Clarke returning would mean the chances of him finishing his career here would be fairly decent. That career history would make him wary of ever leaving again.

Does anyone know how much it is? People were telling us it was £3 million in the summer. Total made up ****

Realistically, how much would Isidor be worth in the summer if we're promoted?

Isidor is better all round than Cannon like so I’d say he’s worth close to £10m already but he defo needs to improve in front of goal. If he can improve his composure and finishing nothing stopping him having a good season for us in the PL if we get promoted and his value doubling. I think £40m as mentioned above is a bit of a stretch like but £20-25m is where I’d put him if he went up and had a season similar to that of Delap this season.

I've been saying, to the lads, he's been trying too hard ...

... now he has a contract he can take a breath and calm the f*ck down <laugh>

He isn't actually had that much game time previously as an out an out striker. It's why his back to goal play hasn't been great but he's getting better and better in that aspect

Got everything to be a PL striker imo

He looks like he hits the ball like a proper striker mind. I know it sounds daft because he scored a hat full but I always said Stewart looked like he rarely made a decent connection on the ball when he struck it whereas Isidor is the opposite he doesn’t half get his boot through the ball. If he can find the corners they’ll be unstoppable
