Ambition isn’t short term panicking in a transfer window trying to grab the best players that come along. Ambition is a multi year plan piecing together a squad with sustainable finance and bringing in players that fit the system. Ambition is developing and holding on to the best crop of young uns the club has seen for a long, long time.
I didn’t hit reply so you know which post I’m replying to :emoticon-0102-bigsm
The transfer window is a bloody circus. I'll be glad when it's over. It gets everyone hett up and desperate for signings when in reality everything is fine and we don't need a great deal. If showing ambition is spunking 3m on will grigg then I'm happy with our approach

Spot on mate. They signed Cannon and BBD, who are both quality players but unless they fit in with their style of play it won't make them a better team.
Clarke was one of the best players in the league last season and should have easily made the step up, however Ipswich aren't playing to his strengths.
There is a huge difference between the BEST players and the RIGHT players .
I think KLD and KS seem to be bringing in the right players.
A lot of people think Sheff Utd are going to be so much better for the run in after their latest signings, I think it may actually hamper them

It has so far mate. A 3-0 pasting from Hull

It wasn't just that he came, tried his best and just couldn't reach our standard ...

... he was absolutely useless, didn't try and made it clear he didn't want to be at Sunderland.

One of the worst signings in our history.

Nowt to do with results, its lack of ambition, i am on about. look i aint having a go, its a forum man ffs just chill out.
What lack of ambition? We've signed a top player in Le Fee and you slag the club

Don't mean this to sound bad but you don't get me rilled up at all as I know you have an agenda against people at the club, so I am totally chill. Post what you want but if I disagree or even agree with someone I'll comment back

It also does sound you are having a go

11pm Monday is the time to express concerns about the window for me (I’m very happy with the window so far) plenty time yet the January window is notoriously difficult to get good value, don’t be shocked if nothing happens until deadline day, do expect leaks before then though

Exactly this.

The club know what we need and be working to get the players in, I'm hoping we have our business done by Sunday so Monday is fully.concentrated on the game

Aye i always say judge a window once it's actually closed

Then we can all judge if we think it's been a good one or not

Me too mate hate that we’re playing on deadline day although atleast it’ll stop me refreshing here every 30 seconds :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I think if it closed right now it would be a good window, could have been better of course but keeping all our better players and adding le fee I don’t think it can be seen as any less

Sunderland pay ELF's reported 60k plus a week and put in an obligation to buy of around £20m.

In the championship.

And are accused of a lack of ambition by their own fans.

That's a ****ing farce.
I’m still trying to figure out what showing ambition is, who should we be chucking money at?

Tom Cannon? Diaz? Louie Barry?
