Roberts is shyte man and we’ve seen nout of Poveda. Watson looks unreal because Roberts is so bad it makes him stand out that bit more, the same for Mundle. This is the problem with too many of our fans they don’t want us to bring in better players because they’ll replace their favourites and potentially harm their development. If we have an opportunity to improve our team then we take it and put ourselves in the best position possible for promotion, not just miss out because we’re too stubborn to admit we can improve.
We can't just buy players though when there is no space for them. We aren't man city, you might not like Roberts but unless we sell him we are well stocked on right

We aren’t well stocked there like. Mundle and Watson is well stocked on the left. But we’ve seen nothing from Poveda yet due to fitness

I wouldn’t like to see rigg/Mayenda pushed aside for a chance of short term gain

I've been laid up in bed with flu for most of today. Anything in particular happen today or just another day of speculation and information solid enough to maybe count as a rumour?

It’s technically a long term gain if we get promoted because of it. If Isidor gets injured we only have Mayenda. Mayenda’s composure is nowhere near good enough yet to be relied upon. He shouldn’t have to bare that responsibility either. I think that’s why the club is looking for a CF

@Bucky1989 reckons 2 medicals tomorrow. One is a loan.

we found out a private jet from St Gallen is coming into Newcastle tomorrow.

a striker called Willem Geubbels who plays for St Gallen has been linked with multiple champ clubs on loan this window, apparently advanced with Luton but maybe we have swooped in? No reports just purely me reaching.

That’s about it really

I was told earlier the speculation about Clarke coming back, on loan, isn't necessarily out of the question.

He can play either side if truth be told and, although I'm usually against these 'returns' would make an exception in this case.

We're not guaranteed PL football ...

... Luton aren't even guaranteed the Championship <laugh>

Patterson is a bang average championship keeper. Quiet as a church mouse, has no presence in the penalty area, can't distribute the ball or find a pass, never starts an attack with a quick release, invites pressure with the ball at his feet, and causes mayhem in the defence by never coming for the ball.
The end.
Started a rapid attack in the first half with a tremendous throw out. Did you miss it?

Brighton, Brentford & Notts Forest all doing canny. Have they spent massively? I would prefer to take my chance and find out. 4th off bottom would be a success.
Totally accept winning most times in the championship is a good feeling but do we not want to be back with the elite? Surely most fans and players want that?
Brighton are in debt to their owner circa £400 million.

Out of the names linked I’d say Geubbels fits very well. He’s played all 3 forward positions but has found himself as a proper CF now. So he would be versatile

Where did you hear this from, Smug?
