I’m glad we have Isador and Mayenda as it’s made me quite relaxed about getting another striker in. Que sera, sera

Aye its nice to be having this squabble over a player who's likely to be a sub.

Not saying he wouldn't impact us.

Its just usually at this time of the season we're desperate to improve our starting 11. Its nice that these signings are to improve the squad rather than the 11.

Exactly ! I just wish we knew what this Ahmed Abdullahi was about, he could be the second coming !

We're playing Boro the night of Deadling Day too, so that might affect us doing any late deals.
Why would that be, can't see any of the money team getting a game for us even with the amount of injuries we have

I suspect we've made our final offer, just a guess ...

... we were 3 points off top before Le Fée arrived, players becoming fit and Isidor is improving imo.

I'd rather drop out than keep chasing the deal tbh.
This ^^ if we get him I'll be chuffed but we've done well without him and we have effectively 3 new players available on Friday. A striker and two midfielders.

Lads, I've done some wikipedia scouting. You're all welcome.

Phil Harres from Holstein Kiel. Scored 7 Bundesliga goals in 10 appearances this season for the team second bottom. 6'4

Has played right wing and up front. Known for his "robustness and deep runs".

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Harres

Transfermarkt has him valued at just 1.5m euro

Still hope we don’t get him!!!

Best joke ever that fee!!!

Bart

It will only be ~£7m up front though with additions depending on appearances and goals etc. We are no longer a club that will pay more than a player is realistically worth and strikers always come at a premium. Its about the same as a crocked Ross Stewart and less than a league one striker.

If we spend £7-10m for a player that scores enough goals to get us promoted, which is worth a guaranteed £100m, it is worth every penny for me. The fact that Burnley and Sheff Utd are also interested shows it's the kind of siging that can fire a team to promotion and the fee is realistic.

I have total faith in our player analytics and transfer dealings.

Wasn't there some ITK who reckons we were in for a versatile forward from the german league? could be him

EDIT: Looks like a G/A every 93.5 minutes as well, xG only about 3.3 for his 7 goals so turns half chances into goals as well it seems
