Surely selling when fees are inflated is a good thing, no? The market doesn't really fluctuate anyway it's a bit of a myth. Clubs are more reluctant to sell but they still do if they money is right.Agree about getting used to selling but it has to be the summer for me. Selling in a short window like this one and when player's fees get inflated so people would know we have money and need to replace so they would charge us more isn't the move. Especially when we have a chance as good as this for promotion
Clubs in the summer window would know we had money as well so there's no difference there.
We have a decent shot at promotion but my point was that if the club feels like selling an asset and then reinvesting is the best option to improve then I want them to do what they think increases our chances of long term success, if that means losing Jobe (or anyone else) this window I can accept that.
