Crying out for some quality in the final third.
I didn’t just mean strikers, I meant in the wide areas too. That quality will need consistent quality service which we don't really offer strikers.

Yep, I’m hoping we aren’t just relying on Isidor come the end of January. The best we can hope for is 1 coming in to provide competition for Roberts. The only issue is what it's likely the kid from Chelsea who's going to need some time.
For me we need a big physical striker who's going to constantly occupy the defenders and create space.

Dropping Jobe or Rigg?I think we'll see more from Isidor if we get a CDM and move Neil further forward. Wilson will thrive on someone willing to thread a balls down the side or through the middle of the centre halfs.
I think Vale will slot into the squad straight away if he signs. On the bench instead of Rusyn instantly improves our options imo.The best we can hope for is 1 coming in to provide competition for Roberts. The only issue is what it's likely the kid from Chelsea who's going to need some time.

When is Abdulahi fit and what type of striker is he? I know he is very inexperienced, but wonder if is more of the type to push defenders around.Yep, I’m hoping we aren’t just relying on Isidor come the end of January.
Big risk imo letting your number 1 keeper go mid way through a season. More so a promotion chasing one. The keeper is a massive link in the team cog these days. Not just in terms of shot stopping or being dominant in the six yard box. It is as much about organising centre backs, distribution, players knowing how he likes to receive the back pass etc. Patto has his faults, but none significant enough to risk the disruption across the side a mid winter sale may cause. Let him go in the summer, and promote Young, but dont mess with a key position now would be my advice.

A bit of rotation wouldn’t do any harm but think we missed Rigg on Sunday. That said we were also missing Mundle, Watson and Roberts for a chunk of the game so would probably have missed him less if a couple of those had been available.Rigg for me.
I’m hoping he’s a dynamic, explosive type of striker in the mold of Gabbiadini, Goodman or even Cisse types. We paid decent money for him, expect him to have something about him to be involved soon as hes fit, although expecting him to be raw due to age & experience
Likes to run in behind from the clips I watched, big strong lad - reminds me of Kewyne JonesWhen is Abdulahi fit and what type of striker is he? I know he is very inexperienced, but wonder if is more of the type to push defenders around.
Always enjoyed watching Jones play. Probably should have made more of his talent.Likes to run in behind from the clips I watched, big strong lad - reminds me of Kewyne Jones
He still needs to learn how to use his body to really bully CBs but seems to want to stretch the game and has good pace about him
100%, this lad is a younger raw version of him imo - if he can piece it all together we could have a cracking player on our handsAlways enjoyed watching Jones play. Probably should have made more of his talent.
One of the very best on his day. He had some cracking games whilst here. I’m sure it was John Terry who named him as his toughest opponent…Always enjoyed watching Jones play. Probably should have made more of his talent.
