Would be keen on the Harvey Vale signing. Extremely versatile, can play on either wing, as a 10, a deeper midfielder, either wing back position and as a left back in a back 4. I think that level of versatility would be good for our squad. Has great delivery with his left foot from open play and from set pieces. Captains the Chelsea u21s which shows leadership ability.
Definitely agree there. Seems like he’d be an excellent option off the bench at this stage

The more I think about the signing the more I like it. He played good minutes for Bristol Rovers last season, and played lots of different positions

Was highly rated a few yrs ago and maybe hasn't kicked on to the level needed to break into Chelseas 1st team - nothing wrong with that tbh

I think we would be the perfect club to him and he would be a valuable player 2nd half of this season

As @SourPatch2 said he has a cracking delivery from set pieces, which we could def do with

A couple of Conference League appearances this season for Chelsea’s first team. That’s a nice little bit of experience too, playing with some top players like Nkunku and Joao Felix!

I’m hoping we lose more than that Bob

Anderson, Ba and Rusyn for starters
Think we will try to offload players but never an easy thing to do

I think Johnson and Jones might go out on loan

I reckon we will sign 3 but 1 of them will be more for the future

Be surprised if we don't bring in at least 2 players. We've signed 3 or more players in every window since Speakman arrived so I don't see that changing next month. It is all about outgoings to start with though as our actual squad is huge.

I predict that we'll bring 4 players in; a quality loan, a permanent player for now and 2 players for the squad with a view for the future.

I then think we'll look to move on a lot of players; Ba, Jewi, Anderson, Rusyn I think will definitely be away. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hjelde head out on loan once Seelt returns to fitness. Loans for youth players like Jones and Johnson. Could definitely see Aouchiche moving on still. I could also see Connolly moving on if he continues to not get minutes and if we were to sign a striker he'd be even less likely to play. I don't think this will happen but I'm sure clubs will be interested in loaning Aleksic. Then we have to think about if one of our starting 11 players gets an offer to move on, I think the one I could see going in January is Ballard.

So it definitely won't be a quiet window. We simply need more trusted players in the squad and to get rid of the ones RLB doesn't intend on using.

Cracking post from @SourPatch2, I think we’ll be busy and desperate to offload a fair few. Definitely agree with the Aleksic loan shout too. He’s not playing here and hardly featuring for the 21s. A loan could be an excellent option…

My biggest wish for the window is for Jack Clarke not to join a promotion rival on loan. :D
He’s hardly played of late and doesn’t suit Ipswich’s style, at all. Wouldn’t be a surprise if he had plenty of loan interest.

The Ipswich fan I’ve spoken to is adamant he’s going out on loan in January. Makes sense for Ipswich to have him get his confidence back then return to them in the summer in the championship for an attempt at an immediate return back.

I think he’ll go to Leeds but had a mental vivid dream the other night that he signed for Boro due to the Carrick and McKenna link.

I’d be surprised if he ended up back at Leeds, only because they’ve got Solomon (another loan player) playing off the left and doing very well.

Think we will only see 2-4 in,

depends on who leaves.

also this window is tougher to get the right deal in.

Can Ipswich afford for a player of his calibre going out on loan when in a relegation fight? Lose Hutchinson and he's back in the first 11.

Barca are an absolute shambles mate. The lad himself insisted on the free transfer clause cos he knew it may go tits up.

His agent been spotted in Manchester today.

they bought him for 60m and he can go on a free?

i still dont understand how they arent in even more bother tbh
