I hope RLB is heavily involved in any future transfers.

It appears he will only very reluctantly use the bench and the general opinion on here is that he doesn’t trust them.

One thing resulting from that is, as we’ve lost two of our four midfielders (Rigg and Browne) we have no match ready replacements because Adil, Aleksic and AC have had very few minutes between them instead of coming on when our midfielders are tired and playing against fresh legs (because opposition managers do use subs)

If RLB is helping to choose who is coming in then surely he will pick someone who he will actually play or use from the subs bench.

Genuine question here. Did anyone see what happened to cause Rigg’s injury. Was the opposition player guilty of something or was it a mistake or even fatigue by Riggsy.
I hope he has no more or less say than other head coaches we have had tbh. That is our way and we should stick to it for me. He can have a voice, but that is all.

I trust Speakman and co to find the players we need. Tbh we look to have 1 or 2 in the u21s about oven ready. Our scouts will have been out and about looking. I still believe there is value to be had for us with prem academy sides.

What position is he? A quick google has him as a midfielder attacker full back and a wing back :emoticon-0102-bigsm the O’Nien role
Looks like a winger to me

2 goals and 5 assists in 39 league appearances at Bristol Rovers last season (League One)

I have seen him in the 10/central attacking role and the left wing role. Looks better through middle to me, where he can get on the ball more. Played a lot of the left for Bristol Rovers, but more through the middle at Chelsea.

He has a little bit of the Phil Foden about him for me. Get his share of goals as well. If Rigg is out for a lengthy period I would be happy to see this lad come in.

Yeah, was a cracking prospect a couple yrs ago but not really kicked on since then. Best as an AM, technically very good and chips in with goals

My mate was actually watching him the other week against Newcastle u21s, he said he drifted in and out the game but showed a few moments of class
Nice one mate

I definitely believe the link. We’ve targeted this sort of profile previously

Sounds promising, hopefully another young hungry lad who’s outgrown academy football picked up at the right time

RLB has actually covered that before. Saying the recruitment model now has his preferred type of player for every position in his system. So it’s more tailored to the type of players he likes

EAFC database, which is crazy accurate; has him capable of growing to a 79.

That’s mid table PL level so we take him thanks.

Jobe and Rigg, as a side note, are projected 85 & 86 respectively.

For context, that’s Real Madrid first 11 levels.

They use the same database as many scouts in the real world.

Good player this lad, can’t believe he hasn’t featured for at City recently

Quality player, I used to watch City U21 loads and he was usually the stand out in a very good team - him and Palmer

Works hard and has a goal scoring side to him

He’s played 1 minute of football since December 1st, despite City’s horrendous form and back luck with injuries. 6 times on the bench without getting on

Guardiola might actually be losing the plot? <laugh>

Would be keen on the Harvey Vale signing. Extremely versatile, can play on either wing, as a 10, a deeper midfielder, either wing back position and as a left back in a back 4. I think that level of versatility would be good for our squad. Has great delivery with his left foot from open play and from set pieces. Captains the Chelsea u21s which shows leadership ability.
