This is when having faith in the club makes life so much easier.

Yes definitely the clubs model, but does he really lose that much value between now and the summer if he stays and contributes another 5 goals/assists? I’m not sure we can replace the lads potential with 2 days to go despite the fees being mooted.

However, the club/RLB don’t seem to see the need to bring in a full back and RLB has said ideally they bring in 1 for ST/RW, although they may end up being 2 players.
Could also be that the rumours about what he wants/thinks are bollocks.

If Watson doesn’t want to be here and backs himself to get game time at a premier league club as long as we are well compensated then good luck to him, ultimately I only care about the 11 lads in red n white that want to be here and their back up each week

that’s not entirely true though, we’ve lost a fullback, two strikers and potentially a left winger this month.
