I’m really struggling to get my son excited about the Le Fee move. I think that’s possibly because I’m always overly optimistic about our signings so he thinks he’s heard it all before. For ****’s sake I was even enthusiastic about Josh Scowen! I think the last one I wasn’t was the re-signing of Danny Graham.

Tomorrow morning before the game with the half time walk around on the pitch.

Don’t say that man!! Can you imagine the meltdown and how it will all be the club’s fault if he fails his medical?!

This might be one of the times where if he fails his medical I would understand if we called it off - just because of the cost of his wages

Yep only 5, I don't want another loan but I reckon we will bring 1 more loan in

I don't really like more than 3, as if we don't go up you have to then replace them all

Hull had many issues in the summer but the biggest was they lost 5 quality loan players who went back to their parent clubs

The flip of course is if you get promoted you have space to sign better players than you have contracted to you
In fairness to them all but Samed we have on loan currently would likely stay if we were to be promoted, WIlson would be bought you'd assume, Le Fee has thepromotion cluase and you'd think Mepham would choose to stay after his contract runs out at Bournemouth so we wouldn't need replacing too much. Also think it was more detriment to Hull that they lost Greaves and Philogene, two top quality players at this level

Wilson also has the promotion clause

Still can’t shake this sense of disappointment it’s JUST a loan and not even a full season one.

Boy do I hope we’re promoted

not saying we should have signed him permanently as that’s impossible.

I just feel like I’ve had a taste now of what could be if we get promoted
