Why should we care what he thinks? It's not like he won't have some axe or other to grind having left under something of a cloud
Mind I'm more than sure that those who are happy to feed on any negativity towards the ownership management group will lap it up

Finding out why departing employees left is a vital part of running your business. Sometimes it's the only honest feedback you get once they're free of any repercussions.

We can look at that and decide whether it's credible considering what we've seen or he's just a twat who's worked himself to get away.

Yeh I'm not saying League One experience isn't important, I'm saying Championship experience is weighted higher.

Like somebody having played 50 championship games, for me, has "better experience" than somebody playing 100 League One games. And that person has "better experience" than somebody who's played 200 League Two games.

So signing somebody from a lower league, or sending them for loans there, is still getting them experience. Just that experience isn't as valuable as championship or Premier league experience.
I'm not sure you can be that formulaic about it. The value of experience probably varies from player to player. I watched a young lad on loan from an EFL club to a Step 4 club several times last season. He looked awful at Step 4 but has appeared in a decent number of games for his parent club this season and done well, apparently. That experience in non-league has clearly been invaluable to him and his club as the physicality of the league seems to have toughened him up.

yes I appreciate it was overly simplistic, was just to illustrate my point

Whatever he says in the media, and to the supporters, won't bear the slightest resemblance to what was said at club level ...

... we're not the judge and jury some people have come to believe we are.

We can't make definitive judgements because we don't have the facts.

Anyone who believes we have anything but the odd fact, rumour, guesswork, supposition and opinions is fooling themselves. We all like to guess but it's usually little more than that. We had absolutely no idea about the latest two players to be signed ...

... that's usually how little any of us know tbh, not even the media had a clue.

mundle COULD count as a “forward” depending on the context used and Chinese whispers etc

While I'm all for a conversion (remember when centre halves turned strikers?) you could argue we're already trying to do that with several players.

Let's get an established centre forward until these other lads are ready.

But you seem to be able to say that anything you don't believe is definitively not true, of course......

As the club seem keen on signing versatile players it'll take time to know how things will play out ...

... Jobe, Ba, Hume, Seelt, etc, have all played in various positions.

No idea about Mundle, perhaps Patterson should be concerned.

BBC Radio Newcastle understands that Sunderland are still short of what Bournemouth want for striker Kieffer Moore.

The Cherries don't think star man Dominic Solanke is going anywhere and may be minded to keep Moore, so it may be down to how much the Black Cats' target agitates for a move.

Ipswich and Sunderland appear to be ahead of Cardiff but all three clubs remain a long way off what Bournemouth are looking for in terms of wage contribution.

It’ll go down to the wire I think if the player keeps pushing for a move and neither championship side budges in terms of their offer.

I just don't think Moore will be leaving Bournemouth. He is their only backup striker, yes Solanke is bang in form so is playing all the time but it only takes one bad tackle and Moore is starting. Unless Bournemouth sign a striker he won't be leaving, even if he wants to.

That's my feeling too. Bournemouth would be crazy to let KM go without another forward coming in. I think KM will move in the summer and not to us.

Not done in public though. Behind closed doors in an exit interview yes.

I'm excited about Mundle. Spurs have had few wingers from their academy leave after not breaking through and go and perform elsewhere. Marcus Edwards, Noni Madueke and obviously Clarke all couldn't break through but went elsewhere and became very good footballers. I see a lot of Madueke in Mundle.
