He hasn't 'come out' imo, it's just a minor bit of info he'd have issued no matter what. There's a theory that the club are jumping every time someone posts a nasty comment on a forum. The reality is that the club have better things to do.

Irrespective of that, the cash income, for promotion would make any increase in Jobe's value totally irrelevant.




I'd say that playing regularly in a top half Championship, as an 18 year old, is quite successful ...

... and Speakman has transformed the squad, as a whole, it's not dependent on just one player imo.

He's right to be fair, we haven't been very good but there has been a massive overreaction to losing a few games

Wasn't looking to get offended. The journos said he was sarcastic and hadn't seen it. Actually tried to watch it before commenting but couldn't find it as I said in my post.

I still think it's strange he is sarcastic at all when implying people are bed wetting about results when our league position is decent, because that's despite the results since he came in not because of. Well unless you say we could have been in the play off positions if not cause of the results since he came in.

Hopefully he turns it around but the results so far haven't been good enough but only 100% win ratio in his time here would have been good enough for some as he wasn't wanted and people were against him before day 1!

To be honest people have looked for reason to dislike him since day 1 (caveat to that I'm starting to think he isn't up to it and dislike the way he shifts blame, but people have had a go at his accent and mole ffs).

I think people's unease with him is justified but it's too extreme and even results in things about his appearance etc.. so seems like it isn’t.
