There's definitely an element of stage managing going on. Giving him an iconic number, letting him change the name on his shirt. Playing him as a 10 when he's anything but. Plays every game.....

I think the kid has potential but he needs a rest. Flogging him to death is helping no-one
Maybe on the flip side people are being quick to judge him because of his name. He's a very good player, outstanding for 18.actually, who is having a wee dip in form. It happens. Maybe he does need a rest but there is not.exactly a load of options for the manager to pick ahead of him.

Ah right, so it's just a possibility, not what you actually believe.

I get it now.

You'd argue day was night sometimes.
Ok just to clarify for you, I said I wouldn't rule it out because no one can either prove it nor will we ever 100% know but it is my opinion that they are trying to get him as many starts to add to his value.
When he's not picked in midfield it's the ideal time to rest him but they then hoy him up front ahead of fit strikers.
They are going to try and cash in on his name.
There will be much better ways of wording it but there you go :emoticon-0148-yes:

Not in the slightest mate the comment was more general about the Fan base rather than a personal but burning a young lad out isn’t the answer cos he certainly needs a rest
Don’t disagree mate think the lad needs better game time management looks good in spells but constant 90 mins is making him stale. But “hell on”. Maybe on the internet

I'm utterly ashamed at how bad we are as a fan base currently. Absolute disgrace.
You cant use this place or even RTG as a basis for being ashamed of our fan base, a few lunatics granted but the majority of the fan base are sane realistic supporters.

We used to mock the Mags for mistaking endless protesting as passion ...

... we now have people wanting us to protest about seagull poo and the speed a half time pint is poured.

In the meantime clubs are going bust before our eyes.
You’re bending the truth somewhat there mind, anyone suggesting a protest isn’t doing it because of seagull ****e or their pints being slow. It goes a lot further than that.

Even still there’s nothing wrong with asking for the club to take some pride in stadium.

I have a different opinion and I'm stating it exactly as you and everyone else does. Just because I asked you a question don't make out I'm arguing for the sake of it. I thought that what you said was ridiculous and responded logically and politely.

You originally claimed the club were only playing Jobe to boost his resale value ...

... I disagree, so sue me.

As for letting him change his shirt name to capitalise, that's ridiculous as well. If the club wanted to attract attention the club would insist on BELLINGHAM being on his shirt.

And by the way, us as supporters are no different t
Well, the signs were put up, and he's said he wasn't happy about it and will investigate. That should be the end of it. We don't need all these endless theories about who did it, why it was done, who knew about it, and whatever else.

Everyone thinks everything is a conspiracy nowadays. Its usually not.
the latter is true, but I do think because he did that heartfelt message on the day it came out, people quite rightly in my opinion would expect some sort of follow up message.

I never mentioned his shirt name.
I don't understand how you think it's ridiculous when as an 18 year old he starts every single game even out of position.
He's not used to so many starts and could easily suffer burn out. Infact I think he already is.
