There’s been an underlying trend / theme this season of not trusting subs
And this is the point I’m trying to make. Too many players who are of similar profiles but none of whom are a specialist ie Ekwah playing as a DM and forcing Jobe in as a 10. That’s 2 of the 3 central players you’re relying on to help dictate games. For me Evans goes straight into the team he’s played more games at this level than the 3 of them combined and mostly as a captain, that’s invaluable for a squad as young as ours. Nothing to say he’ll come back as good as he was before the injury though unfortunately.
Aye but Evans is injured so he can’t go back in so do you now wait a month for your man and have two and more pissed off players or sign another and piss your man or others off. Nowt worse than a player not being picked for being a ****e stirring mood hoover. We needed one on summer for certain when Matete who I’ve not mentioned got injured.

I dont see pulling out of a deal because we managed to get a better player in as very professional, ruthless yes, bit **** on the lad who didn't come but don't see it as unprofessional.
