atmosphere at the club is massive beale is here now and hopefully he pulls it out the bag but he isn't going anywhere anytime soon, so next best thing to give the fans a lift is getting someone like amad back or even maybe mvilla
Would be terrible if they got mvilla in my opinion. A show of complete naievety when they did the whole defoe thing, dont need another repeat of that. Give me a lift by doing some solid tfr business not some romantic nonsense.

Lets see some real ambition. If Southampton get Rothwell ask for Charles. Go and get James from Brum. We can stick to younger lads, which I like, but have them ready made for our ambition.

I do mate Cardiff is his team isn't it
think so.

mvilla had one of the best stats in europe for interceptions and tackles last season and has been linked with champions league clubs

he would be cracking for are young lads to learn from aswell

The pace of this league would pass him by. At his age, no football for a considerable time will always shine. We need players who can play right now. If we sign someone tomorrow they should be in the team Friday.

Howson is older and playing well at Boro. Morsy, Armstrong, Seri all of a similar age too

If I may, Dodds is and always was KS's spy in the camp.
This issue re Burstow and TM was over cooked by Dodds.
This was the start of TM's downfall.
KS knows his choice is under scrutiny by the fans, but not by KLD yet, unity is their strength as KS and KLD will stick this out together.
This transfer window will not be used to strengthen the team the way we hope, it will be a bland unimpressive attempt to paper over our short fall's.
I told everyone at the begining KLD will not use HIS money to fund our rise back to the prem.
In fairness I think KLD made that quite clear himself, I think the fact fans are demanding he puts is hand in his pocket to invest in the transfer market and then stamping their feet when he doesn't is the major problem.
KLD has used his own money to invest in the infrastructure of the club which will allow the club to be self sufficient. He's been quite open about it so not quite sure why people get upset in the transfer window when he's not using 10-15 million of his own money on transfers.
Whether fans like it or not his been very transparent what his plans are, yes people don't have to like it, but why get upset when he sticks to what he said he would.
Oh yeah I forgot we get 40000 every home game so as fans we've got the god given right to demand the owner uses his own money to make sure we get back to the Premier league

He came out and said his plan was PL football within 5 years from when he took over. So that’s what fans expect. It’s not a god given right it’s just what the owner came out with himself

They havent stopped for an extended period though have they? I doubt anyone would be wanting him if it werent for his past with us. So many better options for us.

From what i saw of him last season i would agree

We are in to year 3, we have another 2 seasons after this one, its the people questioning why he isn't going all out to get promoted this season, I'm sure he would love to but he will stick to his plan, I'm sure he wouldn't have thought in our first season in the championship we would have been so close to promotion

He might well go all out next year when we sell a couple for (hopefully) 20m plus

I don’t think that’s a fair comment on Dodds like bob, if you are in meetings as much with ppl at the club I think you might be getting your wrist slapped because that’s digging him out abit like.

Honestly, I don't think KS knows cos KLD will not open the purse strings, not even a loan to buy fee . K Moore for instance, it's just unreal this club.
He is not the best but better than what we have.

Which purse though Bob?

The club don't have any money other than the Stewart fees which haven't all been paid and may never be unless he regains his fitness and plays for Southampton and Scotland. We're very lucky to have an owner who doesn't want to take chances and leave us in a mess imo.

Kieran Maguire

"Not all Championship clubs have reported their financial results, but of those that have published the numbers, the average operational losses last season were £476,000 a week.

The cost of getting to the 'Promised Land' of the PL is increasing every year."

I dont want him to spend his own money. I do wonder though why the club doesnt have some of its own money to use now. Perhaps they do. Our wage bill is reported to be the 4th lowest. If that is true we cant really expect coaches to compete at the top end.

We need to be prepared, in my opinion, to start to raise the investment levels now. I dont expect crazy money and it doesnt need it. Take Ryan Hardie at Plymouth as an example, he would be excellent for us in my opinion, but will take prizing out of a championship side. Josh Sargeant not the mainan at Norwich, but will be a stretch to bring here financially. He would be tramsformative as a 9. These are just incremental improvements that feel like they should be in our gift.

Sorry mate but I was at the meeting with Stew Don, Juan, and about 10 others when he made the statement, re self sufficient run club, and that was before he got his 2.3 billion of his dad's trust fund same as his brother.
We all already know that they want a self sufficient run club.

Josh Sargent is a good shout, would be a realistic signing that would instantly improve us. Canny player. I wonder how much he'd cost/wages.
