Dack that sat in as defensive midfield in the u21 game, provided the cross for our goal.

He wasn't lazy, he did his job and allowed the other attacking players freedom to go and play
Im going on what a scout told me thats all mate, i didn't watch the game as i was on a course that night

Thats the beauty of football, folk can watch the same game and come up with very different conclusions on how a player did

I'm no scout, just offering my opinion having been there. Just for balance as Dack had / is the easy target this season

Thats fair mate, scouting is just having an opinion on players tbf.

Dack is an easy target as hes been a massive disappointment imo. He was clearly a signing to keep TM happy as it wasnt really a position we needed to strengthen as we have lots of no10 types

Def need a CDM in January

Possible CF option could be Muniz from Fulham. Has played a few times for them this season but im hearing he might be available for a loan deal. Hes not an out n out goal scorer but he is a handful for sure, big strong n quick - would give us a nice option upfront

Was he a boro last year? If I’m thinking of the right lad he was a handful at their place

Yep it is, got a poor goal scoring record but the lad is a right handful

Creates space for others with his power, exactly the type we need imo
If he can occupy defences leaving space for Clarke/roberts/whoever’s playing 10 then I’m all for it

think geldhart did that to an extent which went under the radar

Yep exactly, he holds the line well which is different to what gelhardt would do. Muniz wants to stay high n occupy CBs, he would give us the workrate that Stewart gave us

Ive been told he might be available but its dependent on what Fulham do in the transfer market

Muniz plus £5m and they can have Ekwah haha

Big one. We need to move some players on and bring in quality. Players with experience in this league.

Not sure if we can send Burstow back but I would if possible it even pay a fee to turn. Hemir back to Portugal.

Need a quality CF and a power CDM as a priority.

Unless its Sartoris stake up for sale this is the last thing we need. KLD and his hierarchy are certainly not perfect but he's the best owner we've had in my lifetime and despite bumps in the road it feels like the club has a plan which it has never had previously.
The best owner in my life time and I would reckon a fair few others is Bob Murry. Not 100% perfect but put the club first.

Certainly need a presence in the 9 position for me. Someone who is prepared to have a go at Clarke and Roberts when they make poor decisions. Someone who is going to demand the ball into feet early.

Rusyn should get game time, but think he may be better wider for now. Give him a run for Roberts. Burstow had his chance and didnt take it. Someone for Hemir and Mayenda to learn from, and be impact subs second half of season would be my call.

Rusyn is very much a left sided forward from what I have seen.

I'd give him a run, but don't know how to fit him in as he is essentially a left forward, unless we go 3 up top and have him and Clarke rotating out wide? Then AN Other as the wide right forward?

If we want to go down the route of adding some championship experience in January there are plenty of good players with contracts expiring in 2024 so would be available for a decent price.

Personally think Alan Browne, Ben Whiteman and Sam Field would all be good additions in midfield if available for a low price.
I’d add Jamie Shackleton to that list too, will more than likely be a lad from the under 23s elsewhere though

Clarke is the same as Roberts for me, in that he is a wasted player centrally.

Rusyn looked decent in the middle on the odd few occasions i have seen him. I’d certainly give him a chance. He’s like a terrier in there, always buzzing around and makes some good runs. Just nobody seemed to be able to spot those runs

Just going on what I read about him and have seen. Even in the u21 games he plays as the left foward.

Hes defiantly got something but I don't think playing him as a central striker will see the best of him

If that's the case though then it has to go down as a bad piece of transfer business. That's Clarke's position and he isn't losing it any time soon and we also have Bennette as cover. For the reported 2.5m euro's paid for Rusyn, we 100% would have been better off buying an out and out striker as that was the priority position needed in the summer. At the minute, it's wasted money on a 25 year old who isn't getting a look in atm, money that is also one of our highest fees paid for years.
