He’d easily walk into our Xl and would have a big impact on the younger midfielders imo and the French lads. There’s nobody of his quality at the club for them to learn from.

Get him in then. Will have the respect of the squad and obviously speaks French so will only help players like Ba and Aouchiche

Oh yeh. Believe it when I see it tho. By “doesn’t need money” he probably means he’ll settle for £20k per week instead of £60k per week
Its about sharpness tho, evans know this league inside out so knows what he needs to do
Im not against it, i watched him last season and he was really poor - it was only 1 game so always hard to judge. Looked so sluggish in n out of possession and that was in a league game where the pace was so slow - think that could be a reason he hasnt signed for a decent team
More likely to take him until the end of the season to get up to speed than to come in and have a positive impact imo.
As much as I like Evans, I would say Mvilla is a better player and would cope with the championship
If he could get up to speed and playing at near his best it would be a no brained. But I think its telling he is a free agent releasing come and gete statements.
If the club see value in it fair enough but I won't be slagging the club if it doesn't happen (as some undoubtedly will, convinced we knocked back the chance to sign M'Villa that they remember from 8 years ago!)

I suspect there is good reason why M'vila has not kicked a ball in anger this season. Scout 73 has probably explained the reason why.

As i said im just judging him on a game i watched last season n not basing it on the player we saw. He looked past it the game i watched, maybe why no one has signed him
6 months out of football is massive and will likely take him 3 months to get up to speed
We def need a cdm just not sure hes what we need
