Do you honestly see a decent player in any of them 4.
I cant, and we need a striker who can hold the ball up for a start.
I get we are not given them lots of chances, but ffs Milton Nunez would have scored at some point.
You might have missed it but the team set up and our pattern of play does not allow us to play with a striker who holds up the ball. Now playing one off the defenders should??????.

Yes that cos we haven't had a decent striker for over a year.

I get that but lets see what a new manager can get out of these players

Its so hard to find someone to come in and score that number of goals without spending big big money. Id rather we develop a player if they have high upside, not sure on how high the upside is on hemir n mayenda just yet

Lets see how they develop over the rest of this season and with a new manager

For what its worth i still think the recruitment team will be looking to sign another striker in January n potential send Hemir out on loan
So we don't have a new manager yet.
I quote a club sponsor asked KS yesterday, do you have a replacement lined up as head coach or are just gonna hang on?.
I quote his KS reply, what's wrong with this head coach, ??? And walked away.

And I can only assume that cause someone sponsors a few quid that they would have availability to KS most inner thoughts and should be told everything that's going on!

Sorry I have got a quote on that like!

No mate he just happens to be a sponsor not in KS circles, Kristjaan won't even know who or what he sponsors, BUT , it don't stop him asking questions, or KS giving that kind of answer.
I'm telling folks what was said.
That's all.

Likely dissapoint those who want proven/experienced.

Is anyone expecting them to go for experienced? I think they see it as bad value for money so will go for someone who can develop or is ready to prove they are good enough. That's the model and in all other positions it has worked!
Take ability over experience every day of the week, wouldn’t be against the lad from Wimbledon that was linked, 11 goals 5 assists this season in a very physical league at 21 isn’t to be sniffed at

100% we are getting to see more exciting football because we sign ability and potential.

Who is the last proven player, Dack? And he comes across as TM getting one for him? Between then and the new regime there must be very few.

Is that Ali Al-Hamadi?

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/sport/oth...nd-providing-hope-for-his-country/ar-AA1lyCkg

"What is Al-Hamadi like as a player?

Standing at 1.87m (6ft 2in), Al-Hamadi is more of your sort of classic number 9, in the sense that he prefers to play on the last line of defence and pounce on the ball in behind, or to pick up the ball just in front of the opposition back line before driving at them with his pace and power.

He possesses several finishes in his arsenal, can finish with both his right and left foot and is good at deciding whether to shoot with power or place the ball beyond the keeper.

The 21-year-old’s physical presence allows him to go toe-to-toe with opposition defenders, using his frame to shield the ball before laying off a pass to a teammate. This presence allows him to be a focal point of attack if his side wants to be direct and his awareness allows him to play affective one-twos with teammates.

Al-Hamadi enjoys driving with the ball when presented with the opportunity, dragging the opposition away from their natural position before opening up gaps for teammates.
Being so young, he has much he can improve on, no less his aerial presence in attacking scenarios or his overall decision-making.

He has been directly involved in almost half of Wimbledon’s goals this season and they are a much better team with him on the pitch."

Yeah Dack, proven at the level yet not made half the impact of Jobe for example, granted Jobe’s been given far more game time
