Rumour: Fee agreed in the region of £2m for Spanish u20 striker Alberto Balsam. The 20 year old striker can also play deeper in the number 10 role and already has 4 goals for Las Palmas this season in the Spanish Segunda Division.

A tricky striker who is an expert set piece taker recently signed a sponsorship with a shampoo company to release his own brand shampoo.
Sorry, but that just doesn't wash.

We need that. Nobody really takes a good corner or free kick which is odd considering the high technical level of the squad.

Hope this isn't linked to sports washing, we don't want to dirty our hands with that.

If Aouchiche plays regularly I think he'll take most of them tbh.

He took a really bad one in the last game on tv, after I'd told my wife I fancied him to score he tapped it against the shins of the wall, but yeah he does look like he's got the ability and confidence for it. I hope so.

He did what he thought was best for him ...

... if he'd had a big enough offer he'd have sold the entire club to anyone.

People aren't gullible fools Bob, Donald was a cheat and a liar.

The cover up you threw at us for the 'kidnapping attempt' does you no favours ...

... it makes you look like a founder member of the Flat Earth Society tbh.
Your view and nowt else, I know it was a shambles, but to many on here and rtg don't know what went on, that includes me

Was it in the clubs best interests to destroy contract negotiations with Maja and then spend too much money on a replacement which the manager didn't want and didn't fit the system?

Was it in the clubs best interests to use the parachute payments to buy the club?

Was it in the clubs best interests to sell off the clubs best young assets for pennies?

Was it in the clubs best interests to neglect the academy so much that the u21s failed to win a game for over a year and we are still feeling the damage now?

Was it in the clubs best interests to employ Phil ****ing Parkinson?

Was it in the clubs best interests to employ Jim Rodwell?

Was it in the clubs best interests for Donalds mate Methven to abuse the people of Sunderland?

I can go on if you want me to.
Good points I applaud your endeavour

I know he lied about Sunderland supporters kidnapping his daughter.

That's a very serious allegation to make without any proof, even if he had any.

I don't believe him for a second and would tell him he's a liar to his face.

I was just talking to one of the lads, who's gone to Plymouth, and he was saying the same thing.

We had a couple of games where we conceded from set pieces and people were trying to make a case that 'we're always vulnerable at set pieces' .... people seem to like sequences of events for some reason.

There's been loads over the years hasn't there. Can't hold a lead, can't come back from a goal down, can't score from set pieces, can't score from inside/outside the box, can't win in London, can't win an early kick off or if it's televised, can't win if it's a full moon, can't score if the keeper has a beard <laugh>

It seems other supporters think exactly the way some of us do <laugh>

I guess that it’s the human nature of trying to predict the future by looking for patterns. Those patterns often turn out to be short-lived, coincidence or rubbish though!

Denver’s available

Most players are in our squad for the right price.
Our attendances are ridiculous and we are in the top 20 highest in europe.

I truly wish we could just take the bull by the horns as a club and spend the money to make us the club the fans deserve

It’s where the money comes from and the club being able to survive long term. Ellis Short tried it and paid off an eye watering amount of debt when he left. Sell out to the Middle East? Implode like Everton are on the edge of doing?
