Lindsey Vonn had a massive crash last week, getting airlifted to hospital and suffering a complete rupture of her ACL and other damage.

7 days later she is on the qualifying gate, wearing a knee brace and ready to compete in the downhill skiing having completed a training run.

Not sure if that is phenomenal determination or phenomenal foolishness.

That Candy Moreno’s crash was arguable worse, if not as spectacular, the way her leg just folded inwards at the knee after landing the jump. Grim.
