Modern #1s need to be chipping in with goals. Bin him off.

Oh I'm not the manager, it's former St Mirren assistant manager Brian Kerr now (not the ex Faroe Islands and Ireland manager).

Before him it was Joey Barton (who left to manage Everton), who took over from Des Buckingham, who replaced Jaap Stam. Ryan Longman and Aaron Connolly are still there though <laugh>.

We’ve been linked with a Dutch-Turkish keeper called Bilal Bayazıt who currently plays for Kayserispor. If true, I imagine Racioppi is leaving in the summer and we need someone to challenge Pandur.
At 5M he won't be challenging Pandur, he'll be number 1

I’d say priority wise it’s…

Goalscorer
Left Back
Right Back

Maybe get Gelhardt and Barry early as well as they (hopefully) should be relatively straightforward.

Is that Gelhardt on loan as seen quite a few suggestions that we wouldn't be able to afford to buy him

He's available in the summer, but a fair few teams are interested

I think we have a chance due to his progression here. He knows what Selles is about and is enjoying his time with City.

He also knows Kyle Joseph from their time at Wigan and Burstow from their crossover at Sunderland.

He could do worse than join a club near to home where he will be given a chance and at a club which has recently progressed young players into the Premier League.

Acun can always fly him out to his mansion too.

He'll probably go where the money is highest. :emoticon-0138-think

The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.

Pair of full backs, Gelhardt & Barry on loan and a forward, who will have to be a punt cause otherwise they’re too expensive.

I can’t see use signing Geldhardt unless we have serious money to spend in the summer again.

It’s been reported that Leeds want at least a few million for him and if other teams are interested he’ll probably end up going for £5–7m.

Considering we seriously need to address our goal scorer situation, I can see city choosing to spend the money elsewhere.

The clubs mentioned as chasing him ahead of the Jan window were QPR, Preston, Plymouth , Stoke, Portsmouth and two sides from Belgium, though as we weren't on that list, it may well be nonsense. It doesn't seem he has a future at Leeds and they only paid £1m for him, so what he goes for it likely to depend on whatever competition we've got and there's bound to be some.

He’s been our best player second half of the season. I think he will have a lot of interest. A lot will depend on our transfer policy too, if half the team leaves again like every other transfer window we probably got no chance.
