Surprised you think I like trash like that. Actually, not surprised as you ate a bit dense.
Orange, the only person who comes close to Syd in terms of making you want to throw your breakfast up.
It’s always a pleasure to come on here and bask in the heartwarming camaraderie between posters.
I think it's because we're all adults and can communicate in a way that is befitting of our intelligence.

I'm not a huge fan of anything with too many special effects/computer imagery/puppetry, so most sci-fi, disaster, fantasies and all the superhero films involves this. Did like Bladerunner and the sequel though. Don't mind the Roger Moore bond films, got bored of all the post-dalton ones though. Like crime/thrillers, although they seem antiquated now... Are they still made?

Wonder which of Brady and Syd most closely resemble fellow cool kid Noel Shempsky?

Can just imagine them battling with their light sabres they got for Christmas. And greeting people with fingers apart and live long and prosper.

I have a strong memory of being taken to see the first one at ABC.

I was only 4 in 1977 but I guess it would of been a year or more later when it got to Hull?

Bit of an update to this courtesy of The Hull Story newspaper, in 1976 the ABC cinema main auditorium was reconfigured into 5 smaller individual screens. Which would explain why in 1977 star wars was shown at the temporarily reopened Dorchester.
