Yeah, if you go to New Village Kitchen theirs are relatively cheap and nice so a bit of a win-win in comparison

Tower and regent opposite, in tower I watched Roger Moore in one of the bond movies, at the back going full length up the wall was a poster adverting it, Rog with his gun. Now in regent apparently as I never went in, you went there for another reason, holding your pistol while watching a dirty movie, dirty as in porno not a filthy one, mind you I think the cinema was a **** hole. I loved Dorchester mind, one big ass room with a huge screen if memory serves me. Herbie or Star Wars I saw in there last, can’t remember which… it’s **** getting old

The flaky sausage rolls in here are legendary, and the bacon and eggs pie, blackcurrant slices and apple ones. Not a fan of the shin pie mind but the quiche is bloody lovely. Did I mention the sausage rolls lol…
Pork pies with either caramelised onion or black pudding also worth a try…..

Yeah, opposite way round for me. I drive past NVK on my way to work so pop in every now and then. I'll have to try Baker's Dozen when I'm next actually in Cott rather than just skirting its periphery.
It had the best sound system in Hull...but as you say it was a huge place to fill and sadly closed...I remember going to see the Concert for Bangladesh in there...the sound was incredible...came out with my ears ringing!
